Edit PDFs the way you edit a document.
iChangePDF started as a Saturday-afternoon frustration. A simple change to a one-page PDF — a corrected name, a fixed date — required uploading the file to a stranger's server, signing up for a trial, dismissing a watermark, and trusting that the document would actually be deleted. There had to be a better way.
So we built one. iChangePDF runs entirely in your browser. When you open a file, your browser opens it. When you save, your browser saves it. The document never travels across the internet, because there is no server on the other end to travel to.
What you can do
- Edit text in place. Click a paragraph, change a word, fix a number. Type the way you'd type in any other editor.
- Rearrange pages. Drag a thumbnail to a new position. Rotate it. Delete it. Add a blank page when you need one.
- Save when ready. Export a clean new PDF. Your original stays untouched on disk.
What we believe
Your documents are yours. Privacy isn't a feature we bolted on; it's the whole reason the project exists. If we ever change this principle, we will be honest about it.
Tools should be free unless they have to charge. A PDF editor doesn't need a monthly subscription. We pay for the site with unobtrusive ads, the same way newspapers and podcasts do, and we keep the editor itself free for everyone.
Speed beats features. A long list of options nobody uses isn't progress. We invest in making the few things people actually do — change text, rearrange pages, save a file — feel instant.
How we keep the lights on
iChangePDF is free to use. We do not sell a "Pro" tier, gate features behind sign-up, or watermark your exports. The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, which you can read about in our Privacy Policy. You can refuse personalised advertising from the cookie banner without losing access to any feature.
