Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of iChangePDF (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. They are intentionally short.
1. The Service
iChangePDF is a free in-browser PDF editor. All document processing happens in your browser; we do not store your files. The Service is provided at no charge and is supported by advertising.
2. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents you edit. We claim no ownership over your files and do not receive copies of them. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to edit and store the files you load into the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to defeat the security of the Service;
- Use the Service to alter documents in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others (for example, forging signatures or tampering with legal records);
- Use the Service to distribute malware or otherwise harm other users;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system associated with the Service.
4. Availability and changes
We aim to keep iChangePDF available and reliable, but provide it on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iChangePDF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profit, arising out of your use of the Service. Because the Service runs in your browser, you are responsible for keeping backups of any files you intend to edit.
6. Third-party advertising
The Service displays advertising delivered by Google AdSense and may include links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. See the Privacy Policy for details on cookies and consent.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which iChangePDF is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
